Dag Strömberg is a licensed speech-language pathologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), analyste du comportement certifié (ACC-A), and holds an MSc in Special Education. He is currently a PhD student at the Department of Special Education, Stockholm University, Sweden.
For more than 25 years, I have worked within behavioural services for individuals with autism, providing direct intervention to children and caregivers, as well as supervision and in-service training to staff in preschools, schools, and habilitation centers across Sweden. My professional interests include the use of behavioural strategies to enhance social interaction, sleep, communication, and treat challenging behavior in individuals with autism, along with the training of caregivers and professionals.
I have served as course coordinator for the Master's program in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis, at the Department of Psychology, Stockholm University. Since 2010, I have been a board member of the Swedish Association for Behavior Analysis.
Internationally, I have been involved in various projects. For example, I participated in the Erasmus+-funded EuroBA project (2020-2023), which aimed to develop educational standards and training for behaviour analysts across Europe. I have also been involved in the development of the Nordic Association of Behaviour Analysts.
In August 2019, I was an invited speaker at the EABA International Summer School in Latvia, and served on the program committee for the ABAI International Conference in Stockholm the same year.
